The idea behind the book is to shift the perception of tennis in Ukrainian society and highlight its place in the country’s sports history. It reveals that Ukrainians have been part of global tennis for over a century — through the individuals who helped shape its development. The book restores forgotten names and showcases the contributions of Ukrainian players, coaches, and managers to the international tennis landscape.
